Whiting True Green

Excellent & Consistent Layers

New chick on the block

Easy to care for, reliable layer

A relatively new breed, developed by Dr. Tom Whiting that breeds true for egg color. His original intention was for feather development for the fly fishing industry. But soon learned all these great features that backyard chicken enthusiasts were looking for too. Exceptional consistent layer of large green eggs. Also an outstanding feed to egg ration. It is a heat and cold hardy bird that is independent and a great forager. It is quickly becoming one of the most sought after day old chicks on Vancouver Island.
