A Great Family Bird

Talkative and don’t mind being held by children

A fine breed for the backyard poultry keeper

An excellent dual purpose bird. Because of their gently nature they always end up at the bottom of the pecking order so care must be taken with what birds to put them with. A robust bird with great tolerance for cold and heat (as long as their is shade and water).

ISA Brown

These birds were bred to produce eggs and lots of them. These are by far, the very best for first time chicken owners. They have very few problems while being relatively maintenance free.
