Broad Bronze Breasted

One of the largest and heaviest birds

America’s Thanksgiving Turkey

Quick growing and easy care

The name refers to their feathers which are an iridescent bronze-like sheen. A quick-growing bird that will roost in the trees, given the chance. But given how fast they grow, very quickly it becomes impossible for them as they become larger. They are constantly on the move foraging for food and insects. This bird usually is butchered around 4 to 5 months and rarely is kept year-round.
